8th Grade Farewell Dance is coming up! June 9 at Barrister Gardens from 6-9.

** Dance Tickets will be sold online with EZPay on the JMS website. If your student is in good standing, you may purchase online from May 19 to May 26 ONLY!

***Tickets are $45, you must be in good standing in order to purchase your ticket.

**** NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

****If you have a question about being in good standing, ask an 8th-grade Advisory teacher the week before ticket sales. They will have a list, or ask the office.


***Tickets to the Dance will be hand-delivered to the student the week of the dance. They must have the ticket to get into the Dance.

6th Graders will attend Camp Copneconic and will be transported by Peferred Charters. Students will depart for camp from JMS on 10/27/25 at 9:00AM and return to JMS on 10/29/25 at 2:00PM. The cost for camp is $255.00 per student. Due to limited space, the first 200 students to return this form with the required deposit of $100.00, will be admitted to attend. Please scan the QR code below for all camp payments. Final payments for camp will be due on Friday, October 17, 2025. Refunds will only be given with administrative approval.

Here are this week's JMS athletic updates.

JMS Track: Practice Tuesday to Friday this week.

Practice is scheduled from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. at Lakeview HS. Times and location may occasionally be changed or shortened depending on the track's availability.

-PLEASE CHECK OUR TEAM BAND AND REMIND DAILY FOR CHANGES.

-Students must have an approved physical on FamilyID before they can participate.



JMS Swim: Practice Tuesday to Thursday this week.

Practices will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday every week. There will be no practices on days when there are meets.

-Practices will be held at Lakeshore High School, and you will need to have your own transportation to and from practice.

-Students must have an approved physical on FamilyID before they can participate.

Dear Parents and Students,
The robotics team is looking for current 5th and 6th-grade students who are interested in joining the team for the 2025-26 school year. The team will host an open house on Tuesday, May 6 from 6 to 7 PM at JMS. Students and their parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet the team, learn about the First Tech Challenge competition, see how the robot works, and complete an application to join.
